Based on Daniel 7 and gratitude and love for the Son of Man!
Sometimes a song writes itself, emerges as I'm making it. Actually, it happens fairly frequently, but this one is a prime example.
I think I'm ready for another phase,
I'm old, and I ache, and I'm probably grazed!
Let my flesh melt away and the Lord be praised,
I want to see the Ancient of Days!
Can anyone stand,
Before the Ancient of Days?
I'll fall on my face,
And I'll shout His praise!
Even the hills will pass away,
And the grind of time eats away our clay.
But from age to age he is still the same.
I stand in awe of the Ancient of Days!
Can anyone stand,
Before the Ancient of Days?
I'll fall on my face,
And I'll shout His praise!
The Son of Man came,
Before the Ancient of days!
And Dominion was given,
So to God be praise!
The Son of Man stood,
Before the ancient of days!
I will fall on my face,
And I'll shout his praise.
O, Son of Man -- Son of God! Son of Man!
